At The Oldershaw School, our enterprise course is designed to inspire and equip pupils with the practical skills, creativity, and confidence to thrive in the modern world of work. Our intent is to foster entrepreneurial thinking by encouraging students to identify opportunities, solve real-world problems, and develop key business and financial skills. We aim to broaden pupils’ horizons by introducing them to a range of local and national business contexts, nurturing their teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities. Ultimately, our enterprise course empowers every pupil to take initiative, understand risk, and develop the resilience needed for future success, whether in further education, employment, or as future entrepreneurs.
